Recruitment Rally for Group X (Technical) Trades in IAF in Tamil Nadu and UTs of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Puducherry and Karaikal-June,2012

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for  unmarried male  candidates from all the Districts of State of Tamil Nadu and UTs of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Puducherry  and Karaikal to become airmen.

 Post : Airman, Age Limit : Candidates should be born between 01 July 1991 to 30 September 1995 (both days inclusive).

Qualifications : Pass  in Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Mathematics OR Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Medical Standards: As per the rules
Pay Scale : Rs. 8,550/- as stipend during training.
On completion of training: Pay in Pay Band – (Rs. 7,050/-) + Grade Pay – (Rs. 2,000/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) – Rs. 2,000/- + X Group Pay – (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA @ 65% – Rs. 8,092/-):  Rs. 20,542/- per month (approximately).

 Venue, Date and Time  of Selection:

 The Recruitment Test for  Group ‘X’  (Technical) trades  will be held  at MGR Stadium, Madurai (Tamil Nadu) from  22 July 2012 to 25 July 2012. .

 The Recruitment Test will be conducted from  7 AM onwards as per the details given below.   Candidates reporting up to 10 AM  at the Rally  Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test

Domicile Requirement

The candidates must have  passed the qualifying  examination from the recognized Board  of the  State of  Tamil Nadu,  UTs of  Andaman  and Nicobar Islands, Puducherry  and Karaikal OR should  fulfill the  domicile requirements (Domicile Certificate issued by SDM/DM/Executive Magistrate  or any other official authorised by the Government of UT of Andaman and Nicobar

Islands, Domicile Certificate issued by Taluk Tehsildar or any official authorised by the  State Government of Tamil Nadu and UT of Puducherry only will be accepted).
