Age Limit:  Operator-cum-Technician (BO)-Up to 30 years as on 01-03-2012

Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Attendant -cum-Technician (Trainee); Up to 28 years as on 01-03-2012. Relaxable as per rules

Consolidated pay during training:

Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): First year:8250/-, Second year:9350/-

Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) – Cable Jointing: First year:           6600/-, Second year:7700/-

Pay Scale: on successful completion of the course

Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) :S-3-         Rs.9160/- -3%-13150/-

Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) – Cable Jointing-S-1:Rs.8630/- -3%-12080/- *

Application Fee : Rs. 250/- for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee ), Rs. 150/- for Attendant -cum-Technician (Trainee) and  Rs.60/- for SC/ST/PWD  payable through a challan at any branch of SBI in A/C No: “Power Jyoti”- 32336462661 of SBI, Durgapur Main Branch (Branch Code-0074), Durgapur, in favour of ”Steel Authority of india-DSP” on or before 11-07-2012.

Selection Process:  Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
