Qualification : i) A degree of a recognized University  ii) Ability to read, write and speak Bengali (not required in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district of  Darjeeling, i.e. for Nepali speaking candidates.

Age Limit : 21 – 32 years as on 1st January 2013  relaxable as per rules

Application fee : Rs.210/- for General / OBC and All Category Candidates from other States payable through Indian Postal Order in favour of THE SECRETARY, PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL or a receipted challan from a Government Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSCExamination fees-001 Examination fees-16 other fees”.
