AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH SERVICE (ARS)  EXAMINATION - 2012

Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) will hold a Competitive ARS Examination – 20012 for filling up the 431 vacancies of Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in various disciplines for its institutes as per the following detail:

 Examination : Preliminary – ARS Examination – 2012 on 24/02/2013 (Sunday) from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm. (ii) ARS – Main Examination – 2012 on 23/06/2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm. 

Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6000 in the ICAR:

Age : 21 to 32 years as on 01/08/2012. 

Qualification  : Master's degree or equivalent in relevant subject on or before 31/10/2012.

Examination Fee : Rs. 500/- (Rs. 480 + Rs.20/- as registration charges)-- (Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates)  payable through a Crossed Bank Draft  drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi .Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft in the top corner at the time of submission of application. No fee from SC/ST candidates
