  Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up of following 7368 various Group-D posts in Northern Railway, New Delhi as per the following detail:
1. Traffic Porter – 99 posts
2. Pointsman – 283 posts
3. Gateman – 173 posts
4. Khalasi Helper – 2005 posts
5. Trackman – 3853 posts
6. Carriage Cleaner – 852 posts
7. DSL Khallasi – 10 posts
8. DSL Cleaner – 51 posts
9. Safaiwala – 40 posts
10. Hospital Attendant – 02 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1800/- ,
Age Limit : 18-33 years as on 01/01/2013 :

Application Fee : Rs.40/- through  IPO  in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar – I, New Delhi – 110024 payable at Delhi. OR pay in any branch of Central Bank of India by payment challan or by NEFT/online.  Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD(PH), Women, Minority Communities and Economically Backward Classes/Sections are exempted from payment of examination fees.

How to Apply : Applications in the prescribed format complete in all respects along with required enclosures  superscribing ‘Application for Recruitment to the Posts In Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) + Grade Pay RS.1800/-’ on the envelope should be sent by post to the AssisAssistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, Lajpat Nagar – I, New Delhi – 110024., so as to reach on or before 15/10/2012 now extended up to 14/12/2012. For candidates residing in Far-Flung areas and North-East, the closing date for receipt of applications by post will be 30/10/2012 up to 31/12/2012.
