Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites applications for recruitment to 51 posts  Assistant Director of Statistics  in the Tamil Nadu Statistics Service as per the following detail:

Age Limit:  18 -- 30 years as on 01-07-2013.

Educational Qualification:.Master’s Degree in Statistics or  Master’s degree in Economics / Operations Research / Computer Applications / Computer Science / Mathematics / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics and Statistics as ancillary / allied subject.

Application Fee : Rs. 175/- (Examination Fee Rs. 125/- + Cost of Application Rs. 50/-) through Online through Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit card or Offline mode through Challan (generated from bank website) in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office.

Selection Process:  Written Exam and Oral Test/Interview.

Date and Time of Written Examination for Paper II: 24-02-2013 from 02.30 pm to 04.30 pm
