Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from he designated districts of State of Gujarat to become airmen. The Recruitment Testfor Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Maharaja Sayajirao University Pavalion, Vadodara (Gujarat) from 26 February 2013 to 01 March 2013 as per the Selection Programme given below.

SELECTION PROGRAMME. The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7AM

onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting upto 10AM at the Rally

venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Rally.

26 February 2013: Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (P F T) for Group 'X' (Technical)Trades.

27 February 2013: Interview of candidates passed Written Test and PFT on 26 February 2013. Trade Allocation Test (TAT) and Medical Examination for candidates qualified in Interview.

DISTRICTS ELIGIBLE: VADODARA, ANAND,BHARUCH, DAHOD, DANG, NARMADA, PANCHMAHAL, TAPI AND VALSAD DISTRICTS OF STATE OF GUJARAT

DATE OF BIRTH. Candidates should be born between 01 JANUARY 1992 to

31 MARCH 1996 (both days inclusive).

4. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

(a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

(b) Candidate should have passed a three year Diploma Course in Engineering

(Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or

Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.

PAY & ALLOWANCES. During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-per month will be

paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments including Dearness

Allowance (DA), at the minimum of scale of pay for Group ‘X’ (Technical)

trades will be Rs. 21,414/-per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years,

may rise up to Rs. 37,788/-per month (approximately) as per sixth pay commission depending upon the rank attained.
