Joint CSIR-UGC Test For Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility
for Lectureship
CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test on 23rd June, 2013 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in the following subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology.
1. Chemical Sciences
2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
6. Engineering Sciences

Educational Qualification:
1.BS-4 years program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or
equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST
candidates, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates).
2.Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.

28 years as on 01-01-2013
LS (NET) : No upper age limit.

Application fee: Rs.400/- for
General and Rs.200/- for OBC and Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH)
or Visually Handicapped (VH ).
The information Bulletin and Application form may also be obtained
through Value Payable Post(V.P.P.) from the Indian Bank, 3/1, West Patel Nagar,
New Delhi - 110 008, by sending a crossed Demand draft for Rs. 400/-, Rs. 200/-
or Rs.100/-(as the case may be) drawn in favour of “Indian Bank, West Patel
Nagar, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi.
A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF’ OR for ‘Lectureship (LS)
only’
How to apply: Candidates may also apply onlinel Application on a prescribed format
available in the official CSIR, HRDG website complete with all
information, documents along with the
fee DD superscribing Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code on the envelope should reach Sr.
Controller of Examination,
Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex,
Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 on or before 07.03.2013 (13.03.2013 for remote areas).
