Applications on prescribed application form are invited for the following posts of Technicians in Indian Railways.
Technician: 12,042 posts + 536 posts added to RRB Gorakhpur and RRB Jammu and Srinagar
Technician: 12,042 posts + 536 posts added to RRB Gorakhpur and RRB Jammu and Srinagar
(1) Scale of Pay with GP: For Technician Gr.II/Signal- ` 5,200 – 20 200 (GP` 2 400), for all other Technician Gr.III Categories – 5,200 – 20 200 (GP` 1 900).
Age Limit: 18 – 30 years as on 1. .2012
Educational Qualifications: 1st year B.Sc (Physics) for Technician Signal Gr-II post and Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT for all other posts..
Application fee: Rs. 60/- for Technician Signal Gr.II & Rs. 40/- for all other Technician Gr.III for Unreserved and OBC Male candidates.
SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/Women/Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes ; exempted
Application fee payable through Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft in favor of “Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board payable at the address of the respective Railway Recruitment Board.
Selection Procedure: Single Stage Written Examination followed by Verification of Original Documents
