72 posts of Principal and Teaching Faculty posts in APSC-July, 2012

ASSAM PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

Applications are invited for recruitment of 72 Teaching Faculty posts as per the following detail:

1. Principal – 01 post, Age: 45 -- 55 years

2. Professor – 03 posts, Age: 35 -- 50 years

3. Associate Professor – 12 posts, Age: 35 -- 50 years

4. Assistant Professor (Technical) – 33 posts, Age: 21 -- 38 years

5. Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) – 23 posts, Age: 21 -- 38 years

Educational Qualification:  B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech. in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology with 1^st Class Degree at B.E/B.Tech. or M.E/M.Tech. level with Ph.D. Degree in Engineering.

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400/- to Rs. 67000/- Plus Academic Grade pay of Rs. 10000/- with special pay of Rs.3000/- PM plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Application Fee : Rs. 5/- (Rs. 2.50/- for SC/ST candidates payable  through  Treasury Challan to Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C’.

Selection Process:  Written Test Interview.
