Subject: Internship at Press Wing of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Services of Interns from reputed Journalism Schools/leading Universities

(specializing in Law, Literature, Political Science and History) are required in Press

Wing of the President’s Secretariat on the following terms and conditions:

Objective: To familiarize willing and eligible graduates pursuing Journalism,

Law, History, Political Science, Literature etc.

Eligibility: Candidates having a first  class graduate degree in Journalism, Law,    

History, Political Science and Literature from Universities/Institutions of National and International repute.Under graduate students of exceptional qualifications will also be

considered.

Duration:    Three months at different points of time during  a year and can be

extended depending on the performance of the interns.

Remuneration: The interns would be paid remuneration @ Rs.5000/- per month per

intern, payable on satisfactory completion of their internship.

.Logistic support;  Selected Interns will be provided with necessary logistic support i.e.

office space and computer with interment facility.

Placement: The selected interns would be attached to different sections of the

Press Wing of President’s Secretariat and will report to Deputy Press Secretary.

Submission of Papers: Selected interns will be required to present a report/paper on the duties performed by them at the end of their internship on how Rashtrapati

Bhavan’s public interface can be improved.

Certificate of Internship: On completion of internship, a certificate will be issued to the interns on satisfactory completion of their internship on submission of their

report/paper after evaluation by Dy. Press Secretary.

Selection: All the applications received from interested and eligible students will

be scrutinized by a Selection Committee of the President’s Secretariat.

Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, latest by 26^th December, 2012.
