POWERGRID is  looking for 47 professionals for appointment purely on Temporary (Contractual) basis for a period of two years for execution of NOFN Project in the state of Orissa.

01. Field Engineer: 17 posts
 Age Limit: 18-29 Years as On 10.01.2013 
Consolidated monthly remuneration : 
1st Year : Rs. 30,000/-
2nd Year : Rs. 33,000/-
Essential Qualification and Experience : B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.)/AMIE in Electronics and Communication discipline from recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% marks with One year Post Qualification Experience in design, engineering of optical fibre network, adequate experience of construction, Testing and Commissioning, operation and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre network system (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.). Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Telecom sector shall be preferred.

02. Field Supervisor: 30 posts
Age Limit: 18- 29 Years as On 10.01.2013 
Consolidated monthly remuneration : 
1st Year : Rs. 23,000/-
2nd Year : Rs. 25,500/-
Essential Qualification and experience : Diploma Engineering in Electronics and Communication Discipline from recognized technical Board/Institute with minimum 55% marks with One year Post Qualification Experience of construction, Testing and Commissioning, operation and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre network system (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.). Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Telecom sector shall be preferred

Application Fee : Rs. 200/- for Field Engineer and Rs. 100/-for Field Supervised payable through DD  in favour of “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” Payable at Kolkata preferably drawn on State Bank of India. Candidates should write their name and address at the reverse side of bank draft.
