Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test- PSTET 2013

The Department of School Education, Government of Punjab has entrusted SCERT, Punjab for holding Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 as per the following detail:

Educational Qualifications:

I. Qualifications for class 1 to 5:

Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing for final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) senior secondary or its equivalent with 50% marks and passed or appearing for 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education B. El. Ed. BA/B.Sc.

II. Qualifications for class 6 to 8:
Senior Secondary passed or appearing for final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed  or appearing for final 4 year BA/B.Sc. Ed/B.Sc. (Ed.)

Application Fee: Rs.500/- for Unreserved/ OBC Candidates , Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates andRs.1000/- for  Unreserved/ OBC Candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates who want to apply for both the posts to be paid in Axis Bank Ltd. or HDFC Bank Ltd) in the form of E-Payment/ Pay through E-Cash Coupon

How to Apply: Candidates have to apply online through the website tet.bedpunjab.org. from 16-12-2012 to 31-12-2012.

Closing Date for Online Applications: 31-12-2012. 
Closing Date for Fee Payment: 31-12-2012.
Date for Fee Reconciliation and Upload the Status for information to candidates: 03-01-2013.
Date for Uploading the Admit Card: 07-01-2013.
Date of Written Exam for Paper – I: 20-01-2013 from 10.30 A. M to 11.30 A. M.
Date of Written Exam for Paper – II: 20-01-2013 from 13.30 P. M to 15.30 P. M.
Date for Declaration of Results: 28-01
