Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 1267 posts of Excise Constable / Lady Excise Constable as per the following detail.

Excise Constable / Lady Excise Constable: 1,267 posts

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,400-25,200/- (Pay Band-2) with Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-

Age :- 18-27 years as on 01.01.2013

Educational Qualification: - Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or equivalent examination under any Board recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.

Selection method: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Application fee: Rs.150/- through Bank Draft / Postal Order in favour of “West Bengal Police Recruitment Board” payable at Kolkata.. No fee from ST/SC candidates of West Bengal.

How to apply: Application on the prescribed form  in the brochure available from the office of the Superintendent of Police of all districts and the office of the Commissioner of Police of all Police Commissionerate (except Kolkata) from 24.01.2013 to 24.02.2013 by sending the prescribed fee draft/IPO complete in all respects and documents superscribing “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF EXCISE CONSTABLE / LADY EXCISE CONSTABLE - 2013” on the right side of the envelope should reach THE CHAIRMAN, WEST BENGAL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD, ARAKSHA BHAVAN (PCC), SECTOR-II, BLOCK-DJ, SALT LAKE CITY, KOLKATA-700 091” on or before 25.02.2013.
