Jobs for Inspectors of Legal Metrology-Advertisement No. 5/2012
West Bengal Public Service Commission (PSCWB) invites applications for recruitment of 39 Inspector of Legal Metrology, under Consumer Affairs Department in the West Bengal General Service as per the following detail:
Pay Scale : Rs.9,000/- - Rs.40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs.4,400/-. (PB-4)
Age Limit: 32 years as on 01-01-2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with Science (with Physics as one of the Subjects), Technology or Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering/ Diploma in the Field of Metrology and should be able to speak, read and write the regional language of the state i.e. Bengali/Nepali for the candidates from the hill area of Darjeeling District.
Application Fee : Rs. 160/- through Indian Postal Order in favour of the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal payable at G.P.O., Kolkata, or by a receipted Challan from Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”.
SC/ST/candidates of WB and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply: Application on a prescribed format available in the advertisement complete with all information, documents and recent passport size photograph along with fee payment receipt and two self-addressed unstamped envelopes should be sent to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P.Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700026 on or before 18-12-2012. Or may also be submitted personally between 11-00 AM and 3-30 PM on all working days at the Commission’s office.
