Applications are invited for the appointment to 31 posts of the Engine Driver/Attendant/Lineman/Helper for Lineman/Helper for Meter Testing/Mechanical Fitter/Oilman/Mazdoor and similar grades as detailed below in the scale of pay PB2 of Rs.5200-20200+GP Rs.1800/-under the Lakshadweep Electricity Department from the qualified local candidates of Lakshadweep Islands. Qualifications required as per the existing Recruitment Rule for the appointment to the above said post is given below.

Educational Qualification :

1.SSLC Pass  with LT.I National Trade Certificate either in Electrician/Wireman ( 2 year course) or Mechanic Diesel (One year course).

2.Experience for minimum period of 3 years For Electrician/Wireman and 4 years for Mechanic Diesel under Central Government/State Government/ Government undertakings.

Desirable:Preference will be given to those who have  completed apprentice ship Training in Lakshadweep Electricity Department.
