382 Geologists through UPSC Geologists Examination 2012

Applications are invited for recruitment of 382 Geologists through Geologists' Examination 2012 commencing from 1st  December, 2012 at various centers across the country as per the following detail:

1.Geologist Group A : 300 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/08/2012

2.Assistant Geologist Grade-I Group B : 67 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/08/2012

3.Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) Group A : 03 posts in Central Ground Water Board, Age : 21-35 years as on 01/08/2012

4.Assistant Hydrogeologists Group B : 12 posts in Central Ground Water Board, Age : 21-30 years as on 01/08/2012

Educational Qualifications:  (i) Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology /Master's Degree in Mineral Exploration/ Master's Degree in Hydrology / Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.

Fee : Rs. 200/-  to be deposited by cash in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/ Debit Card. Female/SC/ST/ PH who are exempted
